The 1973 cheerleaders expanded on their initial re-introduction to the Cowboys sidelines. The initial group of 7 was now expanded to 15 cheerleaders that was comprised of 4 returning veterans (Anna, Dixie, Dolores and Voncile) and 11 fresh faced rookies, including Sherrie O'Brien fresh off her sister's exit. On the whole the Cheerleaders continued growing in popularity, same fringe, no drama. just better.
The Cowboys went ten-four again on the season. With a wild card, they lost to the Vikings in the NFC Championship.
